It was a groundbreaking night for Illogical. Majesty White the Southern Prince, Xaviar "X-File" Ellis, and Chris "Noxx" Williams, of the new group Illogical [absent Joel Ray] came through with there live band performance at the Hype City TV Studio. After over 20 performances, Illogical won a position in the top ten slots for the tour beginning in January. What makes the group so outstanding is that they came out of the box with a live band - Don "Da Don" Lewis (drums), Christopher "X.Y.U." Leonard (keyboard), Ahmad Thomas (bass guitar), and Todd "T" Hardaway (lead guitar).
The venue was eloquent with Christmas lights celebrating the holiday season hosted by Big Sam of Hype City Kings. After many performances, all full of energy, none could compare to the energy of Illogical. The music that they produce is of a unique sound that can't be matched. It's caused by the fact that each member is from a different background of life, spanning from West Coast all the way to Jamaica. It's most likely what stood out to the judges at the event. At the end, the judges called the band up and they rushed the red carpet.
Check out the photos from the night at the bottom and keep up with the band here, on their Facebook page, or at www.executivebre.com.
